You are not going to believe me, but Tucker came home tonight! After dinner, Hubby went outside, and there was Tucker! He brought him in, and came and got me. We gave him some food and water, but he didn't want any, preferring to be hugged and petted, purring all the while. He must have been visiting another family for him not to be hungry. Kiefer was so excited to see his brother! Both he and Bo have been sniffing him and licking him constantly. Evidently he smells quite foreign. As you can see from the picture. Kiefer is extremely happy to see him, and hopefully he will start eating now. Tucker just seems to be tuckered out from his grand adventure! Another thing to be thankful for--Tucker home safe and sound!

That photo of Tucker and Kiefer brought tears to my eyes. I'm so glad Tucker's home, what a great Thanksgiving! Check out my 100th post, there's a surprise for you there...
How wonderful! I am so happy for you. I know your hearts are glad.
Nola, I still can't believe he is back! I was just steeling myself for the worst, and now I don't have to!
Thank you so much for the Hummingbird Vine. I am so excited!!! Congratulations on your 100th post.
Beckie, thank you--you are so right--our hearts are glad!
Wow - I'm so glad Tucker is back. What perfect timing for a happy thanksgiving!
Thanks for the pictures - soooo cute.
Just checking my blogroll before taking a nap (I'm exhausted from Thanksgiving!) and saw your title--I had to check if it was about Tucker. I'm so happy for you, MG! A couple of our cats have gone off for an "adventure" occasionally and then returned; I was so hoping this would be the case for Tucker, too. I'm so glad that your family is intact once again:)
Will come back after my nap to read the Alcott story.
Well, they surprise you all the time! My daughter had a cat called Rocky. He used to take off all the time and we thought we'd never see him. Then we got him a collar and people would call us on the phone and say "I've got your cat!". Then we got him fixed. And he ran away for good.
I'm glad your Tucker came home safe and sound! A Thanksgiving treat!
Hi!
I'm so glad Tucker made it home safe and sound!!! I'm visiting from Nola's place. Take Care!!

Marie, Tucker has such a quirky personality, everyone was "just not right" with him gone. Even though they are not related by blood, he is big brother to Kiefer and Bo. He plays with both with such abandon, they missed him terribly. All of his human servants were quite happy to have him back to serve once more! ;-)
Rose, I hope you are rested from Thanksgiving by now. It can be exhausting getting a feast together. It's always a good feeling to have leftovers in the fridge, your feet up, and the family all around occupied in various activities.
Thanks for the good wishes about Tucker. I just couldn't believe he came home Thanksgiving evening!
Oh too funny, Wendy! With a name like Rocky, he had to run away after being fixed!
Tucker was a rescue kitty. His original owners moved, and left him and their other pets to fend for themselves. A neighbor took them in, and called a cat rescue center to take them. I think from that early experience, he has a bit of a wanderlust in him--and I'm so glad he came back.
Hi Splummer, I am so glad you stopped by--and thanks for the good wishes.
I'm so glad your little Tucker came home to you! I would be devastated if any of my cats went on an adventure. It certainly does sound like a Thanksgiving miracle...cute photo!!
Hi Spooky-D! We were devastated when he took off. He is strictly an indoor cat, and I didn't think he could find his way home again. Guess he is smarter than I give him credit for!
I'm so glad. What a wonderful 'extra' thing to be thankful for.
Marnie
Marnie, I can't believe my Thanksgiving wish came true! I remember saying it would be wonderful if he came back for TG! LOL! We are all very thankful the little scamp is back!
This is a very sweet thing to happen at Thanksgiving, Morning Glories!
I hope you can persuade the little wanderer that there's no place like home and that coyotes in Central Texas are way too interested in cats.

What a great relief to get your Dear Tucker back! I've lost house cats out the door before and it's heart-breaking when it happens and a very happy reunion when they are found again. I'm very glad for all of you that Tucker came back.
You're very wise to get your indoor cats micro-chipped. Both my indoor Siamese have electronic tags just under the skin of their necks. We had this done after we adopted them from the Humane Society. It was a tiny injection done in a split second with no side-effects. And it puts my mind at ease; at least a little.
Congrats Again!
Dawn
The Thanksgiving turned out to be great for you. I'm so glad to hear he's back and I'm sure you feel overly grateful for it.
Annie, thanks for stopping by. Believe me, I gave Mr. Tucker quite a talking to after I got over the joy of seeing him home again. Trouble is, he thinks I am silly, and like most cats, does not listen to humans too much.
Such cute pic! thanks for sharing....
Have a blessed day

Dawn, Thanks for stopping by! It is heart-breaking to loose a pet--especially if you don't know what has happened to them--if they are alive or not. Just not knowing drives you crazy. I am so glad this story had a happy ending!
Hello Chandramouli. I am so thankful and grateful that Tucker found his way home. I'm sure he had a grand adventure, but he's not talking!
Hi Cielo, hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful. Keifer was so happy to see Tucker, he wanted to play, but Tucker was too tired. Keifer finally settled down with his arms wrapped around Tucker like he was going to make sure he didn't leave again! Pets are so cute and sweet.
