Piano Man

Roll Over Beethoven, Loudon Has Come To Play!

Grandson Loudon has just started pulling up this week, and his mom put his playpen in front of the piano. He loves to touch the keys, and then pause to look at you--and wait for the applause, which naturally he gets.

Who knows, maybe Beethoven did get his start just like this. Cute picture and of course he deserves applause!

What a cutie! Don't you wish they'd stay that age forever? Give him lots of hugs and kisses.

If you could see me now, you'd know I have a big smile on my face. I took a similar picture on Monday of my grandson, who is almost 14 months. I am the "emergency" babysitter for my grandkids, so when youngest grandson had an ear infection he came to Grandma's rather than go to daycare. The piano always seems to soothe him when he's a little unhappy. I think he might be a future Beethoven--how about your grandson--Beethoven or Billy Joel?

Beckie,

Babies are so much fun, and as a grandparent, I treasure the time with them so much more than I did with my own children because I KNOW how fleeting is this time.

Thanks for visiting and adding your sweet comments.

Nola,

He reminds me so much of his mother at that age. Believe you me, I cover that child with kisses every chance I get! We have a game where I cradle him like a tiny baby and hug him and give him lots of kisses, and he will give me the most satisfying belly-laughs.

Thanks for stopping by,
Jenny

Rose,

I quit my job at the beginning of the year to stay home with "The Loud One". I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, and just felt like I needed to make some changes for my health. As hard as it has been to care for him on days when I just wanted to crawl back in bed, I think I made the best decision. He is such a joy.

I think maybe Loudon will be more of a Billy Joel. He was named after a little know blues player from the 80's (I had never heard of him). But he is already his own little man, LOL. If he is anything like his dad, he will be a little of both!

Thank you Cheryl, I won't argue.
I think he's pretty special. I hope that he will have many fond memories of his Grammy. His mom says he gets excited when he sees pictures of me, pointing and jabbering. He's probably saying, "Hey! There's that crazy lady that stands on her head for me!" :-)
