It is a small world isn't it? Have you ever gotten to visit your family here in the Austin area? I enjoyed visiting your blog and getting to know you a little bit. Your Flat Stanley project sounds like fun--you will have to blog about it so the rest of us can read about his adventures.Morning Glories in Round Rockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07988634441429032483noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3475421075331245419.post-17125971350844603752010-03-06T08:27:59.544-08:002010-03-06T08:27:59.544-08:00Wow, didn't know you got snow there this year;...Wow, didn't know you got snow there this year; neat snowman!! I just got a message from my niece this morning that my great niece is going to be sending me a Flat Stanley letter to take on an adventure! But, thank you for the kind words.

Hasn't Loudon grown? We have just been amazed at how big he is getting. He is not a baby anymore. He is talking so much, and says some of the funniest things.

We did enjoy the snow while it lasted--it is gone now. I know so many have been battling snow all winter long, and it gets so tiresome. But, Spring is right around the corner. I am hopeful with our El Nino weather, we'll have a mild summer.

Take care,
JennyMorning Glories in Round Rockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07988634441429032483noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3475421075331245419.post-10224310248291098232010-02-24T19:39:34.682-08:002010-02-24T19:39:34.682-08:00Wow Wendy! That must have been some monster storm for us both to experience it, if so.

Yes, we don't put away our hoses because we have so little freezing weather. Usually the coldest it gets might be 28 F. and that would just be for hours--not days.

I will look in my inbox for your email--and try to resend mine again.

Hugs,
JennyMorning Glories in Round Rockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07988634441429032483noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3475421075331245419.post-88256481368299031052010-02-24T19:32:23.482-08:002010-02-24T19:32:23.482-08:00Dear Rose,

Snowball fights, building snowmen, and looking for hills to sled kept them busy. I know so many parts of the country have been hit hard with winter weather. It's hard to get excited about more, but it won't be long until we all start to thaw out and get growing!Morning Glories in Round Rockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07988634441429032483noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3475421075331245419.post-35682078625948912452010-02-24T18:28:04.183-08:002010-02-24T18:28:04.183-08:00Dear Jenny, something went wrong!! I was so excited last week to see that you had started posting again and came over and made a comment but I wasn't happy with my wording so I scrapped it and started again only to be interrupted by the 'phone, I then came back again and commented (I thought) but it hasn't showed up!! I think I must have previewed it but omitted to hit 'publish'. I'm so cross with myself as I wanted to welcome you back to blogland :)

I was so very sorry to read of your losses, how very sad to lose a baby and at Christmas too! I do hope your nephew and his wife are finding some comfort from their loving family and friends and of course it was so sad to hear about your husband's Aunt also.

However I was so glad to read that your Mother is much better and that you enjoyed Christmas together. As for Loudon! How he has grown since we last saw him, he looks quite the little man and I love his froggy boots :)

Snow!! Oh goodness, we have had so much of it here this Winter, much too much, it was fun at first, especially seeing the different birds it brought into the garden but you can definitely have too much of a good thing and now we need blue skies and sunshine.

I'm so glad you are back Jenny...take care and enjoy your snow :)ShySongbirdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08148381873578585910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3475421075331245419.post-40428882968068767172010-02-24T17:31:47.396-08:002010-02-24T17:31:47.396-08:00Cool! It really is amazing to think we both had the same weather - and we live a long long way from each other.

I see you still have your hose out. Do you put it away for the winter? Or just leave it out? I forgot to put mine away one year (last year). I didn't really matter, nothing happened to it. I thought it would have cracked.

Yes, I totally agree with you. Let Charley play outside - might just be the very cure for sore tummys. LOL!
Hugs - I sent you an email. What fun they must have had. I'd say they were pretty industrious, too--they must have had to rake up much of the front yard to make this one:) This has been such a crazy winter with so many places getting snow that usually don't. I think another big storm is due to hit the East this weekend, but I sure hope it misses us--I'm ready to see some green grass!Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01384059342847120951noreply@blogger.com
