I remember taking a salt shaker out to the garden because I couldn't wait to bite into those big juicy tomatoes. It brought back such wonderful memories of those great times we had so long ago. I, too, have always thought I should have lived in an earlier time. Things were so much simpler then! Do you remember picking tomatoes from Grandma's garden and standing on the porch hanging over the edge to eat them so we didn't get juice all over the porch? For some reason, that has always been a very vivid memory for me. Since I am an only child, I could never wait for your visits. I would try to squeeze as much activity into it as possible, only to have the visit end so quickly. Though we do not get to see each other, I feel very blessed to be your cousin and to have shared all those wonderful times we had so long ago. Have a great 4th of July!ozarks farm galhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03020168219317780089noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3475421075331245419.post-33308190271800803162008-06-28T13:58:00.000-07:002008-06-28T13:58:00.000-07:00I love morning glories so much. Next year I am going to put some on the front porch side.

I love your blog and I am so in agreement about the slowing down. I had a post a few days ago about it being World Saunter Day (no kidding,,didn't make that up)..on one of my blogs...It is easy for me to saunter,,,I live on the beautiuful MS Gulf coast,,so when I get stressed,,,I go walk on the beach..barefoot..
I look forward to reading more of your posts.
